Free People September 2013 Catalog

Free People. My God, you did it again..in a big way. Blew my mind ten times to Sunday. Today feels like a holiday! The best day of the month. The new September catalog came out and let me tell you, this catalog ROCKS. Everything I want, need, and more. I've been so excited for fall since my trip to their home offices in Philly. During my visit I sat in with Meg Hayne and got to hear her talk about so many inspiring things. She was so intelligient, beautiful, and welcoming. I was so curious as to what was next for Free People's fall catalogs and she answered the question with one word that had my smile bigger than ever: plaid. Free People brought plaid back. I can't get enough of those plaid overalls and the maxi skirt. As if the plaid was enough to put me in debt, so many other things about the catalog put butterflies in my stomach. I loved the versatile mix of looks that appeared each time I looked at a new page. A mens wear look with plaid, a romantic look with crushed velvets and delicate beading, a casual tomboy look with beanies and thermals, and a boho look with bellbottoms and fur. Side note- the jackets and shoes blew me out of the water. I want it all. So long sweet bank account, it was nice knowing you. I think I have to stop typing now and go drool (and possibly press the addicting button "add to cart"). Really. Go to their website and check out their new goodies, or even better download their app on your iPhone for easy shopping.

Hey look! My FPMe account is featured on Free People's app in the app store! All of you should go sign up for an account. It is a great way to see how people all around are connected through Free People and learn how they are styling each piece of clothing in a unique way. It is easy to use and fun to share. The app makes it easy to snap a picture, upload it, and help shoppers get inspired!
Sign up for FPMe and share your looks and how you style the pieces from the new catalog!

Also check out Dylana Suarez of Color Me Nana's blogpost featuring behind the scene shots of the September Catalog. She takes beautiful pictures and captures what this catalog was all about... and shows her fab style. What a lucky girl. xx
